How do I order my Excerpo® Storefront?

Excerpo® Storefront can be ordered online or by contacting our office.

What kind of hardware and software will I need to purchase to run Excerpo® Storefront?
None. There is no special hardware or software investment with an Excerpo® Storefront. Your online store will be hosted on our best-in-class servers.
Pricing
How much does Excerpo® Storefront cost?
Excerpo® Storefront is available in three versions, starting as low as $39.95 USD per month. Professional customization and/or integration is available at an additional fee, which is based on the complexity of the project. Contact our office for details and to request a quote.
Do I have to sign a contract with Excerpo® Storefront?
No. Excerpo® Storefront requires no long-term contract.
Hosting
Do I have to have my own domain to use Excerpo® Storefront?
Yes. While Excerpo® Storefront is hosted on our servers, the system will "plug into" your existing website, which has its own domain and may be hosted by us or a different hosting company.
Can Excerpo® Storefront work with my existing domain?
Yes. Excerpo® Storefront has been designed to work with nearly any existing website and domain.
Can I add Excerpo® Storefront to a website hosted with another company?
Yes. Excerpo® Storefront can easily be "plugged into" virtually any type of website, hosted on any server in the world.
Setting up Excerpo® Storefront
Do I have to be a web guru to install Excerpo® Storefront?
Not at all. The installation of Excerpo® Storefront is handled by our experienced development team. You then simply import your product data into the Excerpo® Storefront database from a standard Excel type document. Expert assistance is available upon request at reasonable hourly rates. What is involved with setting up Excerpo® Storefront?
Setting up Excerpo® is a straightforward process with most of the 'work' being handled by our development staff. You will have access to your own admin interface so you can populate your storefront with your product information, at which point it simply needs to be linked to your existing website. If you have an existing site, or are working with another developer, you will simply need to link to our servers.
Is assistance available with integrating Excerpo® Storefront into my existing website?

Can Excerpo® Storefront work with my existing website?
Yes. Excerpo® Storefront easily plugs into most sites with little-to-no customization required. If you have an existing site and have questions about whether Excerpo® Storefront is right for you please contact us for more information.
Do I need any special hardware or software to use Excerpo® Storefront?
No special software or hardware is needed. Products information and pictures can be imported without the use of special hardware or software via the Excerpo® Storefront admin interface. However, in order to obtain the most professional results and to speed the cart population process, it is helpful to have access to products such as Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop.

Yes, Excerpo® Storefront is entirely customizable. At the present time customization is best performed by our qualified team of development professionals, with future versions of Excerpo® Storefront offering customization options directly to novice users.
Managing My Store
How do I update information on the Excerpo® Storefront?
All product related information can be updated via the Excerpo® Storefront admin interface. Admins are able to update price, product details, availability, etc. in a simple, easy to use fashion with changes being made instantly to your site. You always remain in full control over the product information displayed by Excerpo® Storefront.
What kind of functionality will my Excerpo® Storefront offer?

Where is the admin panel that lets the store owner view product maintenance screen(s), pricing screen(s), shipping cost screen(s), tax schedules, etc.?
A demo of the admin interface is available here. Your personal access to the admin tool will be provided once your Excerpo® Storefront has been installed.
How can I add shipping if I’m not using UPS or FedEx?
Excerpo® Storefront allows you to add your own shipping formulas to the checkout process so that you maintain control over your shipping costs.
How are products imported?
Products are imported using the Excerpo® Storefronts admin interface. The import utility allows you to import all product related information such as price, options, weight, etc.
Processing Orders
What kind of order processing options are available with Excerpo® Storefront?
With Excerpo® Storefront, you can process orders by credit cards in real-time or configure the system for mail-in payments.
Can I securely accept credit card through my website?
Yes. Excerpo® Storefront can be configured to process credit card orders in real-time online through a secure transaction gateway such as Authorizenet. Excerpo® Storefront is also hosted on a secure server, giving you peace of mind knowing that all order information is stored securely online.
Do I have to have my own credit card merchant account?
Yes. To process credit card orders online, you need to have a credit card merchant account.
Can you help me get set up with my own credit card merchant account?
Yes. If you do not already have a credit card merchant account and need assistance getting setup, please contact our office for a special offer. Please note, your business must be located in the U.S. in order for us to be able to set you up with your own credit card merchant account.
Can I use a third party processing system such as PayPal?
Use of third party processing systems is supported by customization to the existing storefront. Customization assistance is available.
Can I accept checks by mail?
Yes. Excerpo® Storefront supports the use of offline processing of payments from checks, money orders, etc.
Privacy & Security
What security features come with Excerpo® Storefront?
Your Excerpo® Storefront comes installed with a 128bit SSL certificate in order to provide the most robust and secure transaction processing currently available online. In addition, all storefronts utilize login/password authentication for access to the admin areas in order to ensure only authorized users have access to your storefront's configuration.
Will anyone else have access to my Storefront?
Any viewers to your site will have access to your Storefront but only you will have access to the admin portions of Excerpo® Storefront.

Where does my Storefront physically exist?
Your Excerpo® Storefront resides on one of our state of the art web servers. This ensures that your Storefront is up and secure 24/7/365.
Is Excerpo® Storefront available for businesses outside of the United States?
Yes. Excerpo® Storefront can be used for business both in the US and internationally. The basic installation of Excerpo® Storefront processes orders in US currency, if you require orders to be processed in another currency, please inquire as to availability.
